Defensive Handgun II – FASS302

Target Group:

Tactical shotgun owners who are proficient in the tactical operations and deployment of pump/semi-auto models, who seek to enhance their abilities through force on force scenarios.

Course Description:

FASS504 is an 8 hour advanced level combat shotgun course which will further develop students deployment and tactical skills with a semi-automatic or pump action shotgun, while integrating the use of a semi-automatic pistol.

Curriculum Outline:

  • Safe handling of firearms
  • Shotgun to Pistol Transition techniques
  • Shooting from Concealment & Cover
  • Moving and Shooting
    Off hand shooting
  • Room Clearing Techniques
  • Unnatural Shooting Position
  • Shoot – No Shoot Scenarios

Required Equipment:

  • Self Defense Pistol or Revolver chambered in .380, 9mm, 40 S&W, .357 Sig, 45 ACP, .38 SPL, or .357 Magnum
  • 2 Magazines or 3 speedloaders
  • Belt mounted IWB or OWB holster
  • 12/20 Gauge Pump/Semi Auto Shotgun
  • One or Two Point sling
  • Proper state issued identification
  • Eye and Ear Protection
  • Casual civilian clothing consistent to your everyday attire
  • Water or other hydrating fluids

**Tuition includes free loan of firearm, ammunition and safety gear.**
