Basic Shotgun Shooting & Fundamentals – FASS501

 

Target Group:

Shotgun owners interested in learning how to operate a tactical shotgun for self and home defense purposes.

Course Description:

FASS503 is a 6 hour intermediate level course which will educate students on the type, and size of tactical shotgun which best meets their needs, as well as the appropriate ammunition. Shotgun deployment techniques from the low ready position as well as the slung position will be developed, in addition to target identification and acquisition.

Curriculum Outline:

  • Safe handling of firearms
  • Fundamentals of Combat Shotgun Shooting
  • Tactical Loading Techniques
  • Moving and Shooting
  • Shoot – No Shoot Scenarios

Required Equipment:

  • 12/20 Gauge Pump/Semi Auto Shotgun
  • One or Two Point sling
  • Proper state issued identification
  • Eye and Ear Protection
  • Casual civilian clothing consistent to your everyday attire
  • Water or other hydrating fluids

**Tuition includes free loan of firearm, ammunition and safety gear.**
